Places to work off-site as a freelancer

Most freelancers who work for creative agencies probably work on-site with them in their studios. However, some don’t and others do a mixture of on and off-site work.

Finding a good place to work off-site can be a problem for freelancers. Working at home isn’t always an option if you need to be around town or actually working in London or other large cities for meetings at studios.

So if you do need to work off-site there is a really useful website that I recently became aware of. It lists laptop friendly cafes in major cities around the world – sometimes these are the perfect environment for getting work done in an uninterrupted, productive environment with the use of free wi-fi to keep in touch with your emails.
The website is called and has a growing list of cafes that feature free wi-fi and power. It also works fast and easy on your phone, so you can easily find a cafe while you’re out and about.
